For the second consecutive year, the Tyler Morning Telegraph's Web site is offering a contest for NASCAR enthusiasts.

Running through the end of the current NASCAR season in November, the free contest gives NASCAR fans the chance to guess the order of finish of drivers in each week's race, and to compete against others for the chance to win the weekly prize.

Each week's local winner will receive tickets to an upcoming event at the Texas Motor Speedway. At the end of the year, the overall winner will receive two season tickets for the 2011 season of racing events at the Texas Motor Speedway.

Last week's local winner for his predictions on the Daytona 500 was Terry Jackson of Lancaster, Texas. For finishing first among players through TylerPaper.com, Jackson wins four tickets to the Texas World Dirt Track Championship, Feb. 27, provided by Texas Motor Speedway. The prize for this week, based on results from the Auto Club 500 at California, will be the same.

Registration is free, and you can register at any time throughout the season. In order to be eligible for the grand prize at the end of the season, contestants must have participated in at least 15 weeks.
