Rusk County Grand Jury Indicts Henderson Man For Bombing Threats

HENDERSON -- A Rusk County Grand Jury indicted a defendant in three bombing threats at Henderson High School and also handed up 47 other indictments this week, including some for gambling.
Lorenzo A. Luna, 19, of Henderson, was indicted on three counts of terroristic threat, third degree, according to the office of County and District Attorney Michael E. Jimerson.
At the start of the current school year, classes at Henderson High School were disrupted three days when the school received bomb threats by phone.
Members of Henderson Police Department's patrol and criminal investigation divisions and the district attorney's office went to a residence in the 800 block of North Marshall, where an arrest warrant was served on Luna after the third threat.
Three people were indicted on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity, a second-degree offense, as a result of raids by law enforcement on gambling establishments. Indicted in connection with the gambling raids were Yi Sule Vega, 20, of Kilgore, and Dorothy Elizabeth Copeland and Stephanie Ann Newman, both 32, of Henderson.
Of 48 indictments, 21 were sealed, according to the district attorney. The district attorney's office presented 60 cases to the jury and 12 were no-billed.

Eliazar Bazaldua Jr., 26, Henderson, driving while intoxicated with child under age 15.
Llonzo Varnard McGregor, 19, Henderson, two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
A 27-year-old man from Bradford, Ark., sexual assault of a child.
Javier Dominguez, 42, Tatum, burglary of a habitation.
A 30-year-old Hend-erson man, sexual assault of a child.
Jesse Wathan Gipson II, 49, Henderson, possession of a controlled substance.
Joe Nelson Fite, 55, Long Branch, driving while intoxicated.
A 31-year-old Hend-erson man, assault causing bodily injury in a family/strangulation and aggravated sexual assault.
Kenneth Ray Lacy, 46, Henderson, delivery of a controlled substance.
Luncel Martin, 47, Overton, burglary of a habitation.
Michael Anthony Talarico, 46, Henderson, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Randall Everett Yauch, 54, Waller, driving while intoxicated.
