TXU Donation Used to Purchase Fans For Needy Families
Tyler’s faith-based charity People Attempting To Help, a coalition of area churches and synagogues, accepted a donation of $10,000 from TXU to purchase 1,000 fans for needy Smith County families this morning.

The Tyler Paper staff is working on additional details on this story, which will be posted here shortly.

PATH executive director Christina Folsom along with Home Depot Assistant Manager Joe Leach, Tyler Mayor pro tem Donald Sanders and TXU Senior Manager of Customer Advocacy Kim Campbell, not pictured, announce a program to donate 1,000 box fans, sold to them at a discounted rate by Home Depot, to the needy this summer. The program was made possible by a $10,0000 grant from TXU.
