Wood County Grand Jury Hands Up 20 Indictments
A Wood County grand jury returned 20 indictments May 14 and then 15 on June 4. They were released this past week.
Among the indictments are two cases in which suspects are alleged to have assaulted a family member.
On March 23, Jimmie Lee Harper, 62, of Big Sandy, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly used a metal pipe and wooden stick to assault his niece.
Michael Lee Tucker, 19, of Tyler, was also indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly pulled a gun on his father.

Lucas Leeman Gilbreath, 2010 County Road 1730, Yantis, driving while intoxicated, third or more (enhanced), Jan. 15;
Michael Allen Hashbarger, Bossier City, La., evading arrest detention with vehicle, March 23;

Wanye Anthony Spangler, 6816 FM 2088, Winnsboro, forgery, Jan. 15;
Michael Anthony Williams, 722 Padgett St., Mineola, theft of property greater than $1,500, Sept. 7, 2008;
Angela Collins, theft of property greater than $1,500, May 2, 2007;
Milton Craig Garrett, Mineola, five counts of fraud, June 18, 2008, Aug. 14, 2008, Sept. 30, 2008, Nov. 4, 2008 and March 25;
Jimmy Wade Griffin, 141 CR 3988, Winnsboro, driving while intoxicated, third or more, March 23;
Zachary Matthew Pierce, 3893 Easy St., Lone Oak, possession of a controlled substance, Jan. 20;

Some arrests have not been made and these names have not been released.
