Joshuah Aaron Butler
Services for Joshuah Aaron Butler, 25, Tyler, will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Littlefield officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors.

Joshuah went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Jan. 29, 2009, in Tyler. He was born Aug. 14, 1983, in Tyler. Joshuah was a longtime member of the Tyler Tabernacle Church where he was saved and baptized. He loved his family and church and never met a stranger. Joshuah worked for many local businesses as a sales representative. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandson and animal lover.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Edward Wells.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Ann Athey Butler of Tyler; father who raised him, Sam Barnett, and mother, Angelina Brown; grandparents, Earl and Lou Barnett of Tyler, and Donna Butler of Tyler; daughter, Emma Marie-Grace Butler of Tyler; half brother, Rusty Dale Wells of New Chapel Hill; sister, Samantha Rae Barnett of Tyler; niece, Annabelle Baily Brown of Tyler; one aunt and uncle and several cousins.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy McBride, Kerri Cross, Omar Stiffer, Casey David Jones, Bryant James Bradford and Sam Barnett.

Honorary pallbearer is K.C. Merle Jones.

Family visitation will be Friday, 5 to 7 p.m. at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.

Memorials in memory of Joshuah may be sent to the Tyler Tabernacle Church, 3115 E. Fifth St., Tyler, 75701.
