Junior Achievement Sets Bowl-A-Thon for February
Junior Achievement of Greater Tyler is preparing for "Bowling for Scholars" Bowl-A-Thon Feb. 27-28 at Green Acres Bowl, Jim Guay, executive director, said.
A luncheon for people interested in having a team is set for Friday. Reservations can be made by calling Guay at (903) 581-7482.
"The Bowl-A-Thon is structured to be fun for everyone, so you don't need to be a good bowler to have fun, be successful and win prizes," he said.
Guay said he hopes about 400 teams will enter.
Money raised helps supply materials for more than 3,500 area young people in the program.
