Plane Crashes In Gregg: Man Killed
LONGVIEW -- A man was killed in the crash of a single-engine plane about 4:30 p.m. Monday in Gregg County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The plane came down between State Highways 42 and 31 north of Interstate 20 near a landfill owned by Allied Waste Services be-tween Longview and Kil-gore, a DPS spokesperson said.

Gregg County Justice of the Peace B.H. Jameson pronounced the man dead at the scene. The identity of the victim and other details of the crash were not immediately available.
