Carolyn Kaetzel
Carolyn Reynolds Kaetzel of Flint, Texas, (formerly of Paris, Tennessee), passed away January 9, 2009, after a long battle with cancer at The Hospice Of East Texas in Tyler, Texas.
She was born in Paris, Tennessee on July 24, 1943, to Raymond and Mavis Smothers Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Gary Reynolds and Timothy Randall Reynolds; granddaughter, Amy Borntrager; nephew, Jeff Gallups; and brother-in-law, Billy Gallups.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Donald Kaetzel of Flint; son, Jimmy Kaetzel and wife Ann of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Theresa Borntrager of Flint; grandsons, Jonathan Borntrager of Illinois, James Kaetzel and Derrick Kaetzel, both of Midlothian; great-grandchild, Shane Borntrager of Illinois; stepmother, Dorothy Reynolds of Martins Mills; brother, Gerald Reynolds and wife Barbara of Corinth; sisters, Jan Sweatt and husband Gene of Arlington, Debbie Saucedo and husband Rodney of Martins Mill, Paula Harvey and husband Tony of Martins Mill, and Anita Powers and husband Christopher of Arlington; sister-in-law, Dana Reynolds of Waco; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends who knew her in the Lake Palestine community. Memorial services are pending.
