Crime Watch: Tyler Police Investigating 12 Auto Burglaries In 48 Hours
Tyler Police investigated 12 auto burglaries within 48 hours beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday. The value of damaged property or stolen items was not available.
The burglaries occurred at these locations:
2200 block of Old Gladewater Highway;
2300 block of Old Gladewater Highway -- an arrest was made in this case;
2300 block of West Oakwood Street;
2400 block of West Oakwood Street;
5500 block of Old Jacksonville Highway;
700 block of West-Southwest Loop 323;
6700 block of South Broadway Avenue;
300 block of East Reick Road;
1300 block of East Line Street;
3200 block of West Gentry Parkway;
400 block of Bandera Drive;
2000 block of Story Drive.
ASSAULT
An assault occurred about 1:30 a.m. Thursday at a residence in the 500 block of Beechwood Drive.
At 1:49 a.m. Thursday, an assault occurred at an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Shiloh Road.
An assault occurred at 2:20 p.m. Thursday at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of North-Northwest Loop 323.
An assault was reported just before 5 p.m. Thursday at a parking lot in the 200 block of Muller Garden Road.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
Aggravated assault occur-red at 1:05 a.m. Friday at a residence in the 2500 block of Northcrest Drive. A suspect was arrested in this case.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A burglary was reported about 6 a.m. Thursday at a home in the 200 block of Chimney Rock Drive.
A burglary was reported about 11:45 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 2100 block of North Gaston Avenue.
MOTOR VEHICLE
A vehicle was stolen about 8:45 a.m. Thursday from a home in the 2000 block of Pine Street.
A vehicle was stolen about 2 a.m. Thursday from a parking lot in the 900 block of West Bow Street.
