Crime Watch: Elderly Man Injured In Hit And Run

A 75-year-old Arizona man suffered minor injuries following a pedestrian hit and run accident around 5:53 p.m. Wednesday.
According to police reports, it happened in a garage in the 6800 block of South Broadway Avenue. The man was treated for his injuries at the East Texas Medical Center emergency room. The only description of the vehicle reported is a four-door 2006 Ford.
AUTO BURGLARY
A speaker box and an amplifier were stolen from a sport utility vehicle around 3:20 a.m. Wednesday from a residence in the 500 block of South Palmer Avenue. No value was given in the police report.
DISTURBANCE -- LOUD NOISES
A suspect is facing bigger problems than a citation after Tyler police responded to reports of a loud noise disturbance around 9:38 p.m. Wednesday.
An individual was arrested for possession of marijuana and weapons charges at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Thigpen Drive.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MOTOR VEHICLE
A 2005 blue Chevy Impala was stolen from a parking lot around 2 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of West Bow Street. There are no suspects at this time, according to police reports.
