Tyler ISD Trustee Gene Shull Announces Resignation
Tyler ISD Trustee Gene Shull announced Thursday night at the close of the school board meeting that he is planning to resign from his seat on the board.

Shull said the reason for his resignation is he is planning to move out of the district he represents.

His resignation will be effective Dec. 30.

Shull joined the board in May 2007. He replaced Andy Bergfeld as the District 1 representative.

Shull was not opposed in the election for the office.

The board will consider appointing someone to fill the unexpired term for the seat.
