Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Being Hit By Vehicle
A motorcyclist was still at East Texas Medical Center Saturday night after being hit by a vehicle.

Sergeant Darin Grissom with the Tyler Police Department said Thomas O'Leary, 20, was traveling east bound on Old Henderson Highway around noon Saturday when a Chevrolet Suburban was traveling southbound on Loop 323, ran a red light and hit him at that intersection.

"(The driver) was diabetic and had low blood sugar at the time of the collision," he said.

O'Leary was taken to East Texas Medical Center with "incapacitating injuries," Grissom said, and the driver was taken to Trinity Mother Frances with no injuries, but for what Grissom thought to be her diabetic problem.
