Tyler ISD Earns 'Superior Achievement' Rating
Tyler ISD has earned a "Superior Achievement" rating under the Texas' Schools FIRST (Financial Accountability Rating System of Texas) program.
The Superior Achievement rating is the state's highest.
The Schools FIRST accountability rating system assigns one of four financial accountability ratings to Texas school districts, with the highest being "Superior Achievement," followed by "Above Standard Achievement," "Standard Achievement" and "Substandard Achievement," according to a statement from TISD.
The TISD Board of Trustees will discuss the district's state financial accountability rating at 7 p.m. Oct. 16, during its regular school board meeting.
The board meets at the Jim Plyler Instructional Complex, 807 W. Glenwood.
