Neighbors Lead To Arrests Of Two Burglary Suspects
LONGVIEW — Longview police credit the actions of neighbors in leading to an arrest of two on burglary charges.

On Wednesday, residents in the area of Covington and South Green streets reported two persons carrying large bags, said Kevin Brownlee, information officer.

When an officer attempted to speak to the men, they dropped the bags and ran.

They were later taken into custody when a resident reported the men had entered a convenience store, Brownlee said.

Police said the bags contained electronic devices and merchandise believed taken from two homes.

The men, Chistopher Bryant, 19, and Ja’Quay Rollins, 17, both of Longview, were charged with burglary and evading arrest, records show.
