Texas Gas Prices Fall By 10 Cents
The average price of a gallon of gas fell by about a dime in Texas compared to last week, AAA reported Thursday.

The state average of $3.50 is about a dime lower than the national average of $3.598.

In Tyler, many stations were selling unleaded gas from $3.35 to $3.39 a gallon on Thursday.

"Supplies in Texas appear to be sufficient to meet demand and prices are falling nearly back to the level they were before Hurricane Ike. The refineries and pipelines are reopened and increasing their capacity to refine and deliver gasoline," said AAA Texas Houston spokeswoman Sarah Schimmer.
