Longview Police Seek Vehicle, Witnesses In Hit-And-Run
LONGVIEW -- Longview police are asking for help in finding a vehicle that caused a Friday morning accident that sent one person to the hospital.
About 9:15 a.m., a dark green, late-model Chevrolet or GMC, four-wheel drive, extended-cab truck failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign on Rodden Street and pulled in front of a car in the 900 block of Reel Road, said Kevin Brown-lee, information officer.
The vehicles collided and the green truck, which should have damage to the driver's side, fled, he said.
The driver of the car was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Shane Manion of LPD's Traffic Unit at 903-237-1196 or Gregg County Crime Stoppers at 903-236-STOP or visit www.greggcountycrimestoppers.org.
