Arrest Made in Teen Shooting
LONGVIEW — Late Tuesday, Longview police arrested a man in connection with the shooting of a teenager.
Kevin Adrian Lamerson faces aggravated assault charges. He is accused of shooting a 16-year-old at 100 Garfield Drive around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police said it appears the Lamerson was upset over losing money in illegal gambling.
Witness statements and evidence led detectives to Lamerson, 20, Jewel Drive, Longview, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, police said.
