UPDATE: Teen Shot Several Times in Longview
LONGVIEW — A 16-year-old who was shot several times while he was gambling early this morning remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Longview Police Public Information Officer Kevin Brownlee said officers responded to a 911 call at 100 Garfield Dr. about 1:30 a.m.
“A 16-year-old victim was found to have been shot several times by a subject known to the victim. The victim was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center with life-threatening injuries,” he said.
Brownlee said the investigation is ongoing and it appears the shooting is in relation to illegal gambling that was occurring at the location.
