A lot of talk radio hosts have said we don't know very much about Obama. But he has revealed a lot about his possible presidency in speeches and interviews.

On his defense policy, he stated he will halt work on a missile defense shield; he will stop all work on new weapons systems and halt all research on new nuclear weapons. He will negotiate with our enemies just as Jimmy Carter did.

On energy, he will not drill for oil or gas, not develop nuclear energy or clean-burning coal power plants and not build any new refineries. He stated "We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times...and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK."

On the economy, he wants more government control, higher taxes, socialized medicine and punitive taxes on large companies that he considers too profitable.

In 1980, the socialist candidate for president received a miniscule number of votes. Today, our socialist candidate, Barack Obama, could possibly win. That is a frightening scenario.
