WHITEHOUSE - Another week, another tough Friday night for the Whitehouse defense.
Tyrik Rollison, Ryan Young and the Sulphur Springs offense gutted Whitehouse for 647 yards in a 52-33 shootout victory in the TylerPaper.com Spotted Game of the Week in front of about 6,500 at Wildcat Stadium.
Sulphur Springs, which lost to Whitehouse twice last season, enacted a bit of revenge on its painful 33-30 defeat in the postseason.
A week after allowing over 400 rushing yards in a season-opening 52-35 loss to Garland Naaman Forest, the Wildcats' defense offered little resistance to Sulphur Springs - either on the ground or through the air.

Rollison, one of the top quarterbacks in the nation, threw for 318 yards and four touchdowns. Young, a senior who transferred over the summer from Alba-Golden, piled up 236 yards rushing with two scores.

Sulphur Springs (2-0), which faces state-ranked Wichita Falls Rider Thursday night on ESPN2, did turn the ball over four times helping Whitehouse (0-2) remain in the game after three quarters.
Whitehouse trailed 35-27 to begin the fourth, but Brady Attaway's second interception of the game ultimately sealed his team's fate.
Bryant Jackson returned the miscue 57 yards to the Whitehouse 6-yard line. One play later, Young crossed the goal line for a 42-27 Sulphur Springs lead.
Sulphur Springs scored 10 straight points after that, capped by Rollison's 12-yard touchdown run with 6:55 remaining in the game.
Attaway, who passed for 331 yards, tried to mount a late rally by hooking up with sophomore sensation Trey Metoyer for a 53-yard touchdown, but it was much too late.
Metoyer finished with eight catches for 220 yards. He had 166 yards and four touchdowns last week.
