Sept. 1: Last Thing We Need
I thought universities and colleges were places of higher learning. This really has to be questioned when 100 college presidents suggest that we lower the drinking age to prevent binge drinking on college campuses. You would think that they should know better. I guess not.
The last thing we need to do is lower the drinking age to control drinking problems on campus. The more immature the person, the more of a problem you will have. Age usually instills maturity and responsibility usually comes with age. However, these college presidents are ruining that theory.
