August 31: Annoying Commercial
RANT: This is really a rant about the fellow who inserts commercials in the middle of a television show.
Neil Diamond was singing on Regis & Kelly's show the other morning and he sang a fantastic spiritual song that really opened my tear ducts. The title of the son was "Pretty Amazing Grace."
The show continued and Neil came on for another song and this programmer, or whatever his title, decided it was time for a commercial break right in the middle of his song.
I know TV folk have to have money from their advertisers to bring us these wonderful shows, but gimme-a-break - insert them at the proper time, not right in the middle of a song, for heaven's sake.
I didn't even have time to get the title of the second song, but it couldn't have been any more wonderful than "Pretty Amazing Grace" rendition Neil was performing.
