Whitehouse Finishes 2-1 In Volleyball Pool Play
Whitehouse finished 2-1 in pool play Thursday in the Tyler Volleyball Invitational at John Tyler High School's Junior Varsity Gymnasium.
The LadyCats defeated Arp (25-23, 25-16) and Athens (25-13, 25-11), while falling to Garland Naaman Forest (25-9, 25-17).
Whitehouse (13-3) will play in the Gold Bracket at noon Saturday at JT's Lions Den.
Leaders for the LadyCats were Christine Ford (16 kills, 24 assists, 24 points), Sarah Stanley (29 assists, 17 points), Alexa Fisher (15 points), Rachel Kidwell (11 points), Sadie Hilburn (16 kills, 19 digs, 19 points), Abigail Crawford (14 kills), Ashley Crank (20 digs), Stephanie Alexander (22 points) and Mallory Smith (18 points).
