Lufkin Stops Red Raiders JV, 13-10
LUFKIN -- Lufkin scored with 15 seconds remaining as the Panthers defeated Robert E. Lee, 13-10, in a junior varsity football game Thursday.
Lee tied the game at 7-7 when Colby Craddock hauled in a 50-yard scoring pass at the end of the first half. Austin Sperry added the PAT.
Later, Sperry kicked a 25-yard field goal to give the Red Raiders a 10-7 lead in the third quarter. Hayden Thompson led the Red Raiders with 97 yards on 10 carries, while Courtland Browning and Marvin Gray each had interceptions for Lee.
