Teneha Tigers: What to Expect
Tenaha has at least three ingredients to produce an even better season than 2007, when the Tigers were co-district champions with Joaquin and went four rounds deep in the playoffs. They have experience, strength and a much improved defense.
Offensively, the Tigers will operate out of the spread formation about 80 percent of the time.
X-factor
The X-factor for Tenaha is the dynamic Marlon McClure, a 5-9, 160-pound senior who has committed to UTEP. McClure made first-team all-state last year at both wide receiver and defensive back.
