Waskom Wildcats: What to Expect
The Waskom Wildcats are thrilled about the 2008 season for three reasons.

One, they vacated a brutally tough district led by Tatum, Elysian Fields and Arp. Two, they have dropped down from Class 2A to 1A. And three, they have a good number of returning starters who had a good offseason. Waskom won its season opener last year against Ore City, and then lost the rest. All seven district games were blowouts.
