August 27: Issue Of Trust
Regarding the article "Perry joins call for road bonds" on Friday, I failed to find any information regarding whether or not our illustrious governor and/or Legislature would be able to take the roads built with the bond money, and sell them to investors for toll roads. Since this seems to be a favorite form of money-raising by Mr. Perry, I would hate to find the public paying for said bonds for years to come on roads that we don't own, and have to pay extra to drive on.
