Grand Saline Takes Silver Bracket at Eustace Volleyball Tourney
EUSTACE -- Grand Saline outlasted opponents to win the silver bracket championship in the Eustace Tournament Saturday at Eustace High School.

The Lady Indians got past Winona (23-25, 25-16, 25-11), Cross Roads (25-14, 24-26, 25-10) and Athens (25-19, 20-25, 26-24) to raise their record 7-4 for the season.

Outstanding players for Grand Saline in the tournament were: Lauren Rogers, Dianna Wilt, Amanda Rucker, Brooke Davis, Courtney Bowen and Julie Herndon.

Grand Saline will next face Chapel Hill and Edgewood in a dual match beginning at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Grand Saline High School.
