An East Texas Medical Center ambulance and rescue trucks from fire departments also arrivied at the scene.

The fire is believed to have started between 5:15 and 5:30 p.m. in the manufacturing plant's mold master building, described by witnesses as a large metal building.

"No employees were in that building when the fire started. They had all gone home," Tyler Pipe spokesperson Mickie Coggin said.

So far, no injuries have been reported and no safety violations were cited.

Officials have not yet determined the cause of the fire but a spokesman said a crew had been working in the area shortly before the fire.

Police were also there to help direct traffic near the facility, including the heavily-traveled U.S. Highway 69.

Media were unable to get close to the facility.
