Much thought is given to the idea John McCain is too liberal to "woo conservatives." The idea is simple: too much liberal ideology and he loses half the conservative base.

However, there is another group of people - such as myself - who are veering toward McCain. These people are the angry Hillary Clinton supporters who have yet to find it within themselves to consider Barack Obama their savior.

I won't get into all the details why I have yet to switch to Obama. For the most part I share his values, such as affordable health care, civil unions and affordable higher education, to name a few. However, I have a few trust issues with the Illinois senator.

I have no idea where he stands. He's changed too many positions and attempted to please too many people. In one book he boasts his pastor as the man that has shaped his values (that racist, horrible pastor of hatred), then denounced him when there's trouble. Am I to assume Obama had an eye-opening experience and decided everything his white-hating pastor taught him is a lie? I highly doubt it, so chances are, Obama shares the views of his "former" pastor.

Those are my main reasons for not throwing my support in for Obama and there are apparently enough "ex-Clinton supporters" willing to vote McCain to make up for lost conservative votes. Believe it or not, Clinton supporters may be the reason McCain wins the White House.

The choices I make Nov. 4 remain to be seen. I'm hoping Obama can "woo" me, but at this point I seriously doubt it, which is why I'm still holding my vote for John McCain come election day.
