Police Seek Suspects In Early-Morning Car-Jacking

Tyler police are searching for at least two unknown suspects in an early-morning car-jacking.

Tyler police are searching for at least two unknown suspects in an early-morning car-jacking.
Tyler Police Department Public Information Officer Don Martin said the victim reported that he and a passenger were sitting in his vehicle in a parking lot in the 2700 block of North Grand Avenue when two black females approached them.
“He told officers he was talking to the females when the two black males came up with guns and asked where the money was,” he said.
Martin said the victim told the suspects he didn’t have any money and they ordered him and the passenger out of the vehicle and then drove off, leaving the victims standing in the parking lot.

Martin said the vehicle was described as a 2000 black Ford F150 extended cab pickup, with a tool box and 20-inch chrome wheels. The vehicle has the personalized Texas license plate CE ROSS.
The suspects were described as a black male, 6-4, mid 30s, and the other was 5-7, mid 20s. There were no injuries and the case remains under investigation.
