Aug. 19: Vehicle Warranties
RANTS: I am really upset right now. I have been getting all kinds of phone calls telling me that my warranty is about to expire on my car. I also got a lot of mail telling me the same thing. If I had wanted an extended warranty, I would have bought one at the time I bought the car.

Well, for the last two months, or more, I have been bombarded with mail, from different companies, and phone calls at the house.

I am always receiving something in the mail telling of my privacy act on credit cards or bank statements and etc., but where is my privacy at home. I didn’t give out my cell phone number or my e-mail address. I stayed on the phone after several of these pre-recordings and talked to someone and they hung up on me, I wonder why? These people need to be turned into the BBB to be checked out. This is not one company doing this but several. I am also on the “Do Not Call” list of Texas.
What the real kicker is, I traded that car in two months ago.

This practice needs to stop now. This is the same as harassment. If I had wanted an extended warranty I would have bought one. I will not ever buy one now.
