Annual Women Entrepreneurs Networking Luncheon, Exhibit Set for Thursday
The 11th annual Women Entrepreneurs Networking Luncheon & Exhibit, presented by Tyler Junior College's Small Business Development Center and the TJC School of Continuing Studies, is set for Thursday.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tyler Rose Garden Center, 420 S. Rose Park Drive.

The theme is "Celebrating Women's Achievements & Possibilities," according to information from TJC.

Activities will begin 9:15 a.m. with "Building a Winning Brand to Build a Winning Business," a workshop with Dr. Alisa White, dean of the UT Tyler College of Arts and Sciences.

Local business owner Cherie' Paro will offer her expertise at the event as well.

Exhibit booths will open at 9:30 a.m., and networking will be 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Lunch will be served from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., with catering by Yellow Rose Catering & Southern Magnolia Eatery.

During lunch, a fashion show will be presented by Neon Dirt, Sharon Young Boutique with Brighton, My Sister's Room and Cavender's.

Luncheon tickets are $30 per person in advance, and may be ordered online at www.tylersbdc.com. Reservations can also be made by calling Kay Bookout at 903-510-2975 or e-mailing kboo@tjc.edu.

Sponsors include the Greater East Texas Development Company, Hispanic Business Alliance, National Combined Benefits Association and Luminant Academy.
