Aug. 17: A Heidi Fan No More
RESPONSE: I used to enjoy reading Heidi Lockridge’s letters, but no more.
What’s to enjoy about sarcasm and mean-spirited tirades directed at other letter writers? No doubt she will think I’m commenting due to the fact I was her target several months ago.

Remember the “word counter” letter? I didn’t respond to that letter because I didn’t want to encourage her venom.
But, enough is enough. Her reply (Aug.10) to Mary Violes’ letter was so tacky. So what if that lady wants to voice her opinion about meteorologists. What business is it of hers? It’s not her job to decide what constitutes a “relevant” subject matter or not.
Do us all a favor, lady, and retire your poison pen or at the very least follow your own advice and write about something more "relevant."
