Around East Texas: Fairview Baptist Plans Revival Sunday-Friday
Fairview Baptist Church will hold revival services beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday and running weeknights at 7:30 p.m. until Friday. The Rev. Rodney Hood of Spring Creek Baptist Church will be the guest speaker on Sunday. The Rev. Lawrence Brown of Rising Star Baptist Church will be the evangelist during the week.

Fairview Baptist is located on Highway 110 South. The church's pastor is the Rev. Zeb Cantley.


EVENTS
  • New Life Community Church, 1201 NNW Loop 323, will permanently combine its 8 and 11 a.m. worship services on Sept.7. The new start time for worship at New Life will be 9:30 a.m. Call 903-535-9272 for information.

  • New Hope Baptist Church, 20940 County Road 145, will hold a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony for its Family Life Center at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The church's homecoming celebration will be held concurrently. The Rev. Donald Hampton is senior pastor of New Hope.

  • The Texas Gospel Music Hall, 6513 Highway 19, South Athens, will celebrate their second year anniversary with the Mark Trammell Trio. The concert starts at 6 p.m., August 23rd. Doors open at 5 p.m.
