August 16: Taxes Pay Way
Many local and state governments are under funded. Where do these "funds" come from?

In Van Zandt County, Texas, the previous county judge coerced the commissioners to lower taxes to the extent it was necessary to file for emergency loans to pay bills. That judge quit and left the county.

The city of Fort Worth is having to cut back in personnel and services, it is being reported. They will merge some of the services with Tarrant County. The same situations are in the city of Dallas and Dallas County.

There is simply not enough money to fund the budgets. Many other cities and counties are in the same financial situations.

When are politicians, and some greedy citizens, going to learn it is tax money that keeps governments running? Taxes pay the way.
