August 16: A Responsibility
People of voting age hold in their hand and heart unimaginable responsibility regarding the soon to be election.
More of us need to be sincerely praying a higher percentage of we the people do desire a safer, decent USA in which our youth can mature.
Have you ever been hit over the head with a two-by-four? That is possibly what happened to Speaker of the House Democrat Nancy Pelosi. Who in history has been so far out of step with government management as to simply turn out the lights, shut the door and go on a long, undeserved vacation?
Upon return from same, each one should be kindly dismissed from ever- again leading you or me. Our next door neighbor can go to Congress and do a much better job. Proof is in the pudding: continuation of liberal Democrat plans and actions means almost certain ruination of our dear USA.
Republicans want to allow energy exploration in Alaska and put an end to pork-barrel spending, cut taxes, eliminate the alternative minimum tax and amend the Constitution to limit the growth of federal government. Also simplify the tax code, offer tax credits for buying health insurance and opening up state insurance markets. Increase domestic drilling while developing cleaner coal and alternative fuels technologies. Allow warrantless wire taps for terrorism suspects outside the United States.
Parental rights and welfare reform need more respect.
Let's wake up - put forth healthy ideas. It is high time to end "bridges to nowhere" and "monuments to me." Remember Ronald Reagan; please know we can reform the system.
