August 16: Sidewalk Use
Regarding Pastor Art Miller's comments in the East Texas Mailbox about the need for more sidewalks in Tyler:
I live in a semi-rural area of Jacksonville so this is really not an issue for me.
He wants sidewalks so he can ride his bicycle. Just look at the word, sidewalk. It is not a "sideride," as to ride another vehicle, but a sidewalk, meant to be beside a road or street to walk on. Walkers should have to deal with dodging bicycle riders on sidewalks!
