Is there any "untouchable" member of our elected rank and file?

The cat is out of the bag with the speaker of the house, Nancy Pelosi. Her tax returns purportedly show she is heavily invested in T. Boone Picken's energy companies. It's no wonder she wouldn't put to a vote on the floor anything to do with "drilling," using the rhetoric of "I'm trying to save the planet." Sound familiar?

She should be asked to step down as speaker due to a "conflict of interest." and should be removed if she doesn't step down.

This also goes for anyone else in either of the houses of Congress. I'm sure if it were dug into, one would find many who have the same. This is why lobbyists should be outlawed on the hill. It's corruption beyond corruption in my book. And it just shows us we don't really know anyone of them except what they promise to do; then they don't do it and it's about "them," not us.

The same can be said about Barack Obama. Does anyone really know who this "freshman" senator is? I don't, but I'm learning more and more every day.

Just take a gander at the amount of "pork" spending these career politicians do. There should be a term limit just as with the president for how many terms they can serve.

It's way past time for the American people to be given the benefits, not the elected official, and way past time that the American people are given "truth".

Stop and think before you react to one of these candidates "stump pump" speeches and fall victim to the same old stuff, different person, different day.
