August 10: GIVE THEM A CHANCE
RESPONSE: America, isn't it wonderful?
We put our heads together. Elect officials to run our cities and, at the first bump in the road, we become critics. We tell everybody to consider this person's abilities at the next election. We don't even give them a chance to be successful.

I have a little over $5,000 at risk now because of the Whitehouse watering situation. I would hate to lose my yard and plants, but if that is what it takes to have plenty of water on down the road, then so be it. I live from paycheck to paycheck just like other people.
We, including myself, have become spoiled to the basic luxuries we as Americans enjoy. I, not too long ago, took the same approach when we had to pay for street paving, guttering and curbing on Lakeview. I hit the ceiling not waiting for anything.
Now, I pay $32 per month for a paved street that is curbed and guttered and it really looks nice. It may or may not raise the value of our property, but at least it will be more appealing to someone if we decide to sell.
Let's all wait and see if the process for water is still not complete by next growing season. If it is not, I will be at the head of the line to seek new leadership for Whitehouse.
