August 10: LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES
I was relieved to see our elephants and donkeys (elected members of Congress) took care of important business before taking their vacation.
They agreed to spend $48 billion in Africa to fight AIDS.
Since we do not have any real problems here in the United States, this makes me feel good. Way to go Congress! This really improves my confidence level in our abilities to govern and see that my tax dollars are well spent.
