Aug. 5: Rose-colored Glasses
RESPONSE: Our newcomer from Austin (TMT Aug. 4) who is a fan of Barack Obama and his book, which justifies being left as a small child to be raised by a single mother, needs to look around his rose-colored glasses.
His wonderful vision to have a president who can look 5 to 10 years down the road needs to look down the road himself.
If he is ready for gay marriage, for citizenship for illegal immigrants, for national health care, for refusal to drill to available domestic oil while paying $31, etc., for gasoline, and for higher taxes, which will limit investments which create jobs, he will one day wish he had what he had when he wished for Obama.
