KILGORE — The East Texas Pump Jacks secured third place in the TCL with a 5-4 victory against Brazos Valley on Friday night at Driller Park.

The Pump Jacks rallied to score four runs in the seventh and eighth innings, and will meet Coppell in a best-of-3 series this week.

Game 1 is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Tuesday in Kilgore. The series will shift to Coppell on Wednesday.

In the eighth inning, J.D. Dunn and Pat McCrory, who had each reached on singles, scored on consecutive passed balls to give the ?Pump Jacks the win.

Matt Shelton (3-1) picked up the win on the mound for the Pump Jacks.
