Around East Texas: Garden Valley To Present Israeli Pastor Friday
Community Christian Fellowship of Garden Valley, 15704 Highway 110 N., will present the Rev. Mikhael Murnane of Israel’s Tif’eret Yeshua – The Glory of Jesus - congregation in Tel Aviv at 7 p.m. Friday. The event is free.

Murnane, his wife Orit and their six children live just outside Jerusalem where Murane’s “I Bless Jerusalem Ministries” is based, said information from Community Christian. The couple are in involved in congregational planting, equipping young Israeli Christians, and “desire to see a spiritual awaking are revival among Jewish people.”

“We appreciate the pastoral ministries of Mikhael and Orit in Israel,” said David Hickey, senior pastor of the church. “As they endeavor to minister with the Pastor’s Leadership Team in Israel as well as invest in the lives of young people, we see in them a heart of love and compassion for the people of Israel.”

  • River of Life School of Ministry in Rusk, 655 S. Dickinson, Drive, will hold fall registration from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Aug. 9. The school is a two-year non-denominational Bible college.

  • Classes run from 7:30 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. Monday through Friday, and begin Friday. Classes include “Old Testament Survey” “How to Study the Bible” and “Passion for Holiness” among others said information from the school.
