TYLER — Smith County Commissioners, regular meeting, 9 a.m., Courthouse Annex, 200 E. Ferguson St. Discuss a fuel purchasing program.

LINDALE — Lindale Cemetery Board, regular meeting, 10 a.m., Kinzie Community Center, 912 Mt Sylvan.

WINNSBORO — Winnsboro ISD, budget workshop, 6 p.m.; special meeting, 6:30 p.m., Westbrook Building, Consider adopting budget and tax rate.


TUESDAY, Aug. 5
TYLER — Texas Medical Board, town hall meeting on regulation of medical profession, 7 p.m., Biomedical Research Auditorium at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler.

TYLER — Tyler Planning & Zoning Commission, 1:30 p.m., city hall, 212 N. Bonner Ave. Consider changing name of Lakewood Drive to Point North Drive.

LINDALE — Lindale City Council, 7 p.m., Kinzie Community Center, 912 Mt. Sylvan.

CHANDLER — Chandler City Council, special meeting 7 p.m., city hall. Consider commercial vehicle parking ordinance.

CHANDLER — Chandler Planning & Zoning Commission, regular meeting, 6:30 p.m., city hall.

GILMER — Gilmer City Council, special meeting, 5:15 p.m., city hall, 110 Buffalo. Work session on budget.

HENDERSON — Rusk County Commissioners, special meeting, 10 a.m., courthouse. Discuss the tax rate.

LONGVIEW — Longview District 4 town hall meeting, 7 p.m., Forest Park Middle School, 1515 Lake Drive

MINEOLA — Mineola Development Board, 5:30 p.m., Municipal Complex, 300 Greenville Highway.


WEDNESDAY, Aug. 6
TYLER — Tyler Historical Preservation Board, noon, Tyler Development Center, 423 W. Ferguson St. Consider nominating Wood Brookshire for half mile of history recognition.

HENDERSON — Rusk County Commissioners, budget workshop, 10 a.m., courthouse.


THURSDAY, Aug. 7
TYLER — Tyler Traffic Board, regular meeting, 11 a.m. Tyler Development Center, 423 W. Ferguson St. Consider recommending decreasing speed limit on a portion of South Broadway Ave.


TYLER COUNCIL TV
Tyler City Council meetings are at 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday on local government access cable channel 3. Tyler Planning and Zoning Commission meetings air at 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on the same channel.


TISD TV
Tyler ISD Board of Trustees meetings air at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month and are broadcast at 2 p.m. the following Saturday and 8 p.m. the following Sunday on TISD TV cable 19. Regular board meetings take place at the Jim Plyler Instructional Complex, 8-7 W. Glenwood Blvd.
