Jacksonville Police to Discuss New House of Israel Information
JACKSONVILLE — Jacksonville Police Department will hold a 10 a.m. press conference Friday to discuss new information allegedly linking House of Israel members to known terrorist groups.

Police said the investigation has led to new charges against Robert Fox and uncovered information that links him to terrorist organizations. Fox is currently free on $90,000 worth of combined bonds after two recent arrests. Police Thursday could not comment on his whereabouts at this time.

Fox’s most recent arrest in early June resulted in two counts of unauthorized practice of law. Fox, a Canadian national here legally, changed his name from Robert Fotti to Robert Fox, according to police. At the time of his second arrest police believed, but could not confirm, that Fox may have changed his name to avoid arrest in Canada and other states within the U.S.

Another member of the group, Steven Lee Jackson, 49, from Missouri, has already been handed over to U.S. Marshals on federal warrants issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for manufacture of an illegal firearm. The initial search of the House of Israel building for Missouri parole violator David George Baugh, 64, led to the discovery of more than 10,000 illegal pills ranging from antibiotics to pain killers.
