Tyler Paper education reporter Megan Middleton was recognized for her work during the Tyler ISD board meeting Tuesday.

The Media Honor Roll, sponsored by the Texas Association of School Boards, recognizes reporters for fair and balanced reporting of news about public schools.

TISD nominated Ms. Middleton for the honor.

“Her work has aided this community in focusing on the goal of providing the best public schools we can for every child who attends them,” it was noted in the school board’s information packet.

Ms. Middleton also covers higher education for the Tyler Paper.
