Abilene Golfer Wins West Texas Am
SAN ANGELO — Trey Todd of Abilene claimed a wire-to-wire victory with a final round of 69 Sunday in the West Texas Amateur at San Angelo Country Club.

Todd had a three-round total of 11-under 202, three strokes ahead of John Bearrie of Arlington and Scott Roudebush of Fort Worth.

Mike Tate of Longview finished at 227 (76-73-78), while Justin Weant of Hallsville was at 229 (73-73-83). Tyler’s Luke Loggins finished at 232 (75-80-77),
