Furniture Shopping Spree is CASA Raffle Prize
One lucky person could win a $1,000 shopping spree at a local furniture store Friday by buying a raffle ticket to benefit CASA for Kids of East Texas.

CASA — Court Appointed Special Advocates — is the beneficiary of a raffle hosted by the East Texas Region of the Lone Star Council of Residential Specialists.

Tickets are $5 and the winner of the Friday drawing will receive a $1,000 shopping spree at Ashley Furniture Home Store in Tyler.

CASA is a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and supports court-appointed volunteers who serve as independent voices for abused and neglected children.

About 257 children in Smith, Wood and Van Zandt counties currently have a CASA advocating for their best interest in court.
