Atria Willow Park to Unveil $6.5-million Renovation
Atria Willow Park will unveil a $6.5 million renovation during an open house on Aug. 7, the senior living community announced.

The one-year project included improvements to living quarters and commons areas, installation of an emergency call system and enhancement of landscaping throughout the campus at 3500 S. Vine Ave., a company statement said.

Additions made to the campus included a putting green, wellness center and sculpture garden.

“The outcome of this project is a beautifully renovated building that I know our residents are proud to call home,” said Ron Lewis, Executive Director of Atria Willow Park. “We look forward to sharing this exciting time with those who attend and celebrating our place in the community of Tyler.”

The open house is scheduled from 3-7 p.m. on Aug. 7, and will include a ceremony with Mayor Barbara Bass and members of Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce.

In conjunction with the re-opening, Atria Willow Park will donate to American Heart Association.

“We share a common goal with the American Heart Association, and that is to encourage a healthy lifestyle for the seniors of Tyler so they may live the highest quality of life possible,” Lewis said.

The project was designed by Detroit-based architect Hobbs & Black.
